In today’s volatile business environment the organizations can no longer have a competitive advantage on selected structure, strategies, system and human resource practices. The organizations instead need to constantly evaluate the internal elements and external forces and implement strategies, which will enable it to mitigate all the possible threats and take advantage of new opportunities. The organization should bring changes in the structure, system and strategies to be able to respond effectively to the changing market conditions. To respond to the changing market environment organizations have to be flexible and overcome the various barriers of the internal system such as a rigid structure or legacy systems and poor human resource practices. Oman Fibre Optic (OFO) is a leading cable manufacturer and supplier company in Oman. The company saw a significant growth in the business due to increasing demand of the fibre optic cables but it failed to identify the increasing customer demand and bring required changes in the internal elements of the organization leading to delays in the production and delivery, which has resulted in dissatisfaction among the customers and leading to business loss. The report analyses the various factors leading to this issue and provides suggestions in overcoming the identified issues.
