Human resource is considered to be a very important part of any organization or company and every company takes the implementation of an effective human resource system in the organization quite seriously. It has been observed that the companies which do not have a proper human resource plan will suffer from lot of management chaos in various official activities.
In the past, environmental conditions were much stable and certain and thus human resource planning was mainly focused on short term benefits. But the last decade has witnessed a lot of environmental instability, technological changes and there has been a massive increase in international competition accompanied by demographic shifts. Thus there was a need for change in human resource planning in various organizations. They are realizing the fact that the human resource plan in the new age must have a long term and also short term focus.
