This report is based on the following requirement -
You are recruiting for a manager in your company. You can choose the company; it can be one you currently work for or one you worked for in the past.
Develop the HR file for the position by creating a recruitment strategy, a job posting for the position and interview plan including questions to assess their qualifications. If a job posting exists, look at ways to improve the posting.
In preparing your posting you will need to ensure you use short sentences with action words. Spelling, grammar and punctuation are important to reflect a good corporate image. Information provided will be listed logically and in an engaging manner. Information will also include organizational information, employer name, terms of employment, experience level, due date, how to apply, etc. Keep in mind, this is your opportunity to sell your great company to the best potential candidates. Remember, why should they apply for your position?
Create a recruitment plan, list where the ad will be visible to your potential target market. Provide information that justifies you chosen media outlets based on the type of position, your organization and the audience you want to attract to your organization.
The final step will be an interview plan. This plan should include 3 behavioral questions, 3 situational questions and 3 or more personal questions to a maximum of 15 questions. With your interview plan include a scoring matrix. This matrix should have ideal answers and a scoring guide.
