Description
Operations management refers to aligning all the activities effectively, which enable transformation of the input resources to desired output, which can be consumed by the customers. Operation management include different areas and effective decisions have to be taken to run those activities effectively. Some of the activities include product and service design, process design, layout, scheduling, quality management etc. (Stevenson, 2011). The inefficiency in any of these decision areas can lead to inefficiency in the delivery of the desired products or services. This report critically analyses the important operations management decision areas at National Bank of Oman and also evaluates its strengths and weaknesses and provides recommendations to improvise the overall performance of the organization.
