This report is based on the following requirement -
Logistics companies have come under mounting pressures of supply chain vulnerability or risk management, against the backdrop of the unprecedented growth of global trade. The integrated systematics holistic approach to risk management which includes identification of the systematic and unsystematic risk, the classification of risk's level and the planned procedures of responses and crisis management are of paramount importance.
a) What is meant by supply chain vulnerabilities. Discuss with examples.
b) Illustrate with 3 examples, how would supply chain risk might be dealt within level 1,2 and 3 of Peck's model of supply chain.
c) Discuss and summarise the key elements of robust supply chain established by three global/local logistics players.
