Gone are the days when love was thought to occur to individuals. In the contemporary society loving skills need to be honed like any other craft according to the author Evans (2003). The reason love and its survival is tested for resilience more than at any period in the history is that human social life is becoming more and more complex and complicated by the day. As such love comes with a series of social and moral obligations not to mention the responsibilities of long term commitment. This essay tries to analyze the essay under review in terms of core issue, the message being conveyed, author’s view point on the topic and the strengths of her argument.
