In this paper an attempt has been made to analyze the value chain of one of the leading retail chains store of Carrefour. The objective of the paper is to understand the way in which the value chain of the company is helping in the global operations and achieving the competitive edge in the market. For a global organization the value chain analysis helps in recognizing the strategic advantages as well as drawbacks of the company to achieve success.
