Since its conception in 1975, Arabtec has witnessed the exponential growth and fabulous business in UAE construction sector whilst contributing massively towards economic development and tourism. With its commitment to work in past three decades, Arabtec is now one of the leading and among top three construction companies in UAE.
Started with building three stores project in Dubai, Muscat and Abu Dhabi in 1979, it never turned back to see behind. The famous project line that it has executed stands tall with no introduction needed to vocalise their exquisite construction. Some of them are- the Burj Dubai, the Fairmont Hotel, 21st Century, Al-Fattan towers, Jumeirah Beach Resort towers as well as the fit out of Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the Ritz Carlton in Dubai; Conference Palace Hotel, the new Exhibition Center for ADNEC and the ADIA buildings in Abu Dhabi. Among overseas its major projects are- Arabtec is building the 4.5 Billion Q.R. Al Waab “city-within-a-city” in Doha, the Okhta Tower in St. Petersburg, the Karachi Financial Centers in Pakistan, the Abdali Heights towers in Amman, the 8th Gate in Syria, and part of a very large University in Riyadh.
As the largest subsidiary of Arabtec Holding (a public company listed on DFM - the Dubai Financial Market), Arabtec Construction LLC (Arabtec) has a workforce reaching 52,000 satisfied employees and $7.7 Billion (28.2 Billion UAE Dirhams) in excess as a backlog in booked work. Pertaining to these scintillating figures both in terms of work and company portfolio, Arabtec is undoubedtly the leading contracting company in the UAE, and one of the top five in the GCC.
