This assignment is based on the following requirements –
Question 1
Identify the macro-environmental and the micro-environmental trends. Identify and prioritise the key trends affecting Boeing Commercial Aircraft
Question 2
Complete a strategic group analysis for the industry. In particular, you should consider the full potential scope of the industry. This would include:
• organisations that provide substitute products to the same market
• organisations operating either nationally or in other regions that deal with the same customers and industry conditions (e.g. organisations operating in different states) to ensure that you fully examine the industry.
Question 3
Classify and describe the business-level strategy being used by each of the strategic groups that you identify.
Question 4
Use the framework for internal analysis outlined. in Topic 4 to complete an internal analysis for your organisation. Identify the key resources using the value chain and resource cluster analyses. Ensure that the resources you identify met the criteria for resources provided in the Study Guide.
Question 5
Determine how suitable your organisation's strategic resources are for the business-level strategy adopted by its strategic group. Decide whether the organisation's current strategic group is the most suitable by considering the business-level strategies adopted by the other strategic groups.
