CASE STUDY 1 -
1) What are the roles of "Good corporate governance" relating to organisational performance in a Newzealand based business or organisation?
2) One of the roles of good governance is to promote ethical and responsible decision making. Using two principles of ethical leadership, explain what leaders in Newzealand should do to be ethical and what leadership behaviors are ethical?
3) What ethical issues does Joe face regarding honesty and telling the truth about this situation? To answer your question, you need to explain how the application of business ethics should be done by Joe in this case and compare ethical and unethical leadership by Joe?
CASE STUDY 2 -
1) You are a consultant and Jim has asked you to advice him on changes that he should make to improve the team effectiveness.
a) You have to do an analysis of the current state of Jim's team effectiveness. Use any 4 of the 8 characteristics of team excellence "Comparison of theory and research criteria of team effectiveness" in your analysis to determine if and why the team is not effective.
b) A further task for you as a consultant is to make recommendation in your advice regarding Jim's leadership decision - should he monitor the team or take action?

2) Corporate Level startegies - Identify two relevant corporate strategies for NutriNut. Explain why you have choosen these strategies and how they apply to NutriNut?
3) Generic Business Level Strategies - Identify 2 relevant business level strategies for NutriNut. Draw a Generic Strategies Mix. If you choose 'Differentiation' as a relevant strategy, illustrate the type of differentiation (vertical or horizontal) and what the differentiated products include that you recommend.
4) Strategy evaluation - Identify the evaluate model that could be applied to evaluate the success of the strategies that you proposed for NutriNut?
