The purpose of the study is to understanding the tremendous impact of the technological advancement on the society and how it is affecting the organizations. The socio-technological impacts of the internet on the business environment are changing the pattern of the business processes. This paper tries to get the insight of a business and the socio-technological of the internet on it. The company that has been selected for this study is a perfect reflection of the technological advances impact on the business environment; second hand mall is a company whose operations itself are based on the inter service and the business function transaction takes place via the internet and other electronic mediums. It is based on e-commerce and thus the company can justify the study topic. In fact the business function of the company itself is inspired by the impact of the technological effects on the society. Through this study the insight of the business functions of this e-commerce based company are been judged and how it is modifying and improving itself in order to keep at par with the increased competitive environment with the help of the internet. The company itself shows the impact of socio-technological advances of the internet in the business structure.
