Description
This report seeks to understand the concept of high performance working to see how this can be introduced in a company of choice, in this case the United Biscuits Company, a company that is located in the UK. High performance work practices are usually set by an organization in order to enhance massive discretionary efforts that employees may fully put into their set duties and job descriptions in a bid to make full use of the skills and prowess that the employees possess. Conceptualizing high performance working as a concept specific system will increase the value of high performance working practices and their complexity in how they enable the improvement and growth of business ventures and ideas. Organizations should also adopt high performance work practices so as to lower the employee turnover, improve the organization’s financial performance as well as to increase productivity.
