Description
Operation Management is a process of adding value to some entity by changing the inputs into outputs (Jones & Robinson, 2012). This comprises of four basic requirements for the customer satisfaction such as right quality, right quantity, right price and right time. In constantly changing technology this is a program which is used for focusing on critical thinking, problem solving and communication. The product, service and process design capacity planning and facility location as well as the operational decisions of an industry such as quality assurance, project management, purchasing and inventory, operations and planning and scheduling, these encompass strategic decision in an industry in a long-range (Malakooti, 2013). This management is concerned with managing the resources and the products of Zara as a manufacturing organization which this study proposes to explore. It took nearly a decade for ZARA to establish itself as the world’s one of the fashion brand and thus is considered to be a significant company to be studied upon.
