Marketing is one of the main functions of the organizations and is mostly customer oriented (Armstrong et al., 2012). It acts as a shield for processes incorporating product research and development, promotion and advertising and sales of goods and service. Marketing helps organization gain benefits of formulating brand recognition gain and retain prospective clients, identify potential customers, provide necessary information, and helps achieve break-even faster, establish trust, enhances new customers through referrals, and managing issues and complexity (Kotler & Keller, 2007).
The Rock Fitness Centre is a new venture formed in Samoa Community which is greatly occupied with the issue of enhancing rate of obesity. Health care becoming a major concern for the people all over the world, it has been found that 95% people on the island of Samoa Obese. So the demand for the gym and nutritional guidance is high for the people. Formulating the new gym seems to have positive prospects for the new venture as the market already exists.
