Description
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a department where patients are critically ill and require to be cared by multidisciplinary team (Bala et al., 2010). The health condition of the patients in ICU is more complex and can become more seriously ill during the admission. Many of them have to undergo surgical procedure and require more care after the process. This report discusses the different indicators important for ICU and provide the rationale for the same. The report also discusses the data collection approach to measure the effectiveness of the indicators.
