Leadership is a process of influencing the followers in a manner that they willingly support the ideas and approaches of the leader and enables them to collaboratively work towards achieving the organizational goals. Leadership in today’s organizations is given significant importance since it enables it to have a competitive edge and enhance its competencies to be able to face the challenges, which the ever changing market trends bring. Leadership approach of the organization is mostly derived from the leadership of the founders, which is then further enhanced by the values, beliefs and attitudes of the new organizational members.
