Question 1
Complete a brief SWOT analysis of IBM, Australia and New Zealand. You may use information from outside sources as well as that given in this case study.

How would you characterise the shift in culture at IBM Australia and New Zealand?

Is team leadership - leadership by the team rather than of a team - the way to go, do you think? What are the dangers for a firm like IBM having an internal environment where openness and directness are the norm instead of hierarchy and procedure?
