The company intends to compete with the likes of Zara and H&M. In order to compete with the likes of Zara, and H&M, the company will need to have a well designed and carefully thought through supply chain. The Senior Executive has asked you to conduct research, critically evaluate your findings and produce a report setting out potential issues, and approaches to managing a supply chain in this industrial sector. She is particularly, keen for you to review and identify good practice in relation to what other ‘fast fashion’ retailing companies are doing in this context and in view of your research findings make recommendations as to how the supply chain should be best managed in order for the company to have a chance of succeeding in a very competitive environment.
