Description
The operation management is concerned with decision making for operation function and transformation system. It is a framework that explains and classifies decisions in required operations. It concerned on planning and controlling of different activities significant for condition of product or services of organization. The operational management decision area of organization is a framework that should explain that decisions areas are significant in operation management of organization. The National Bank of Oman SAOG is a joint stock company that is engaged in retail banking, corporate banking, treasury, international and Islamic banking services and investment (Sila, 2007). The report is explored the experiences of operation management decision areas like quality management, service, product design and capacity design of National Bank of Oman. The National bank of Oman has sustained its quality by providing quality products and services with value added banking that should increase their productivity. Service and product designing decisions are governed by conducting audit to review and improve the product designing. The capacity design decision area of NBO include contact centre that is significant to improve the operational efficiency of organization. The applicability of TQM in the financial services of NBO should increase the financial capability of NBO.
