This critique is based on the following requirement -
1- Introduction: (125 words)
Should include the following:
A brief profile of the article (summary of the idea of the author about change and how it is to be implemented)
Objectives of article being critiqued (refer to the tasks required for the article)
2- Analysis: (650 words)
Should include the following:
a. Choose theories/concepts of change that are applicable to the article; theory/concept of change that will support the idea of the author about change and its implementation.
b. Strength and weaknesses of author’s opinion.
With the aid of the diagram or supporting views, discuss the concepts of change model applicable to the article and the context of organizational change;
Based on the given knowledge, critically examine the article’s change capabilities which relates to its reasons for change as an advantage.
c. Implementation of Change
Discuss your own point of view on how change can be implemented based on your evaluation
Relate your discussion to any of the theoretical models of change as the company in the article continues to improve.

Description
To stay competitive in the global business environment it is imperative to embrace change. Changes in management, has to be led by efficient leaders to cultivate on the positive results that positive changes about (Polasky et al., 2011). The strategies which helps in managing resistance and in adjusting to changes are change management skills (Paton & McCalman, 2008), which are very important for an effective change leader. The leader has to posses certain skills of communication, reasoning and leadership qualities, to motivate and encourage employees to embrace changes. In this paper, an article critique of Leading through Change by Kimberly King (Kimberly, 2003-2016) has been done; to understand the whether the mentioned skills are the optimal set of skills for effective management change and whether the author, has missed on other aspects. This critique will be done on the basis of analysis of skills sets of change leaders by other authors.
