Description

The purpose of the report is to comprehend and analyze the present operational problems faced by the Port of Sohar. In the report an attempt has been made to evaluate the different aspects of the operational problems which the management of the Port of Sohar is facing. The JIT approach is being illustrated and comprehended through the theory review in context of the operational intricacies confronted by the Port management. The theory review has helped to link the present complications of the congestion and space problems which are slowing down the turnaround time of the cargo in the dock and to better highlight the problems.
