Description
As the processes of manufacturing industries, in particular the auto industry became more refined and professional thanks in part to the development of new and advanced technology, they began to look at how the entire process of making a product from scratch to finish can be better optimized. This idea of managing a particular product from scratch to finish has been quite old. The new trend, which is very recent, is the management of most of the components of the company with the same philosophy (Sääksvuori et al, 2008). The techniques of product life cycle management have advanced into managing the fields of organizational structure, working methods, processes, people, information structures and information systems which constitute the majority of the components of a company.
