Description
Organizations today operate in dynamic environments and hence the organization should be effective in decision making process and developing robust strategies considering the data and knowledge, which over time will ensure the desired outcomes (Marcus and Cohen 2016, 41). In developing robust strategies, it is very essential that the top management that is involved in making the decision about implementing the strategies should assess critically the strategic assumptions made for implementing the robust strategies (Rumelt 2011, 83). This report determines the essential assumptions that senior management or boards may need to make for formulating robust strategy based on desk research and responses of interviews with some senior management in few of the organizations.
