Description
The term "binge drinking" has unusual connotations, but normally it refers to drinking profoundly over a diminutive phase of time by means of becoming intoxicated, ensuing in instant and stern intoxication which was discussed by Bosari and Carey (2003). Binge formerly means what we now denote “Binge drinking”, Intense drinking session. Anne baker in her Bold Glossary of Northampton shire in 1854 “A man goes to the alehouse to get a good binge or to binge himself" Which was initially recorded in print.” (Raistrick et al, 2009). In this phrase the word man is replaced by women these days as women and young teens are consuming alcohol in increasing rate, reasons are many bad influence, nightlife, depression and list goes on and on. Binge drinking by young girls and women has coupled more than doubled as per NHS outlines. It showed 1 in 5 is consuming on regular basis, which is indeed unsafe for health. Drinking large amount of alcohol is a behavior that has essentially been linked with men, collectively within the viewpoint of culture such as portrayed in media and among research studies, which has largely assessed male drinking patterns (Valentine, et al, 2007)
