This report in based on the following assignment requirement – - Choose a project from your organisation. Where you do not have a current project either use a project you have worked on previously or create a project. Senior Management have authorised the initiation of the project and you have been appointed as the Project Manager. Your Project Board have asked for a Project Plan so that it can be used as a baseline against which to monitor project progress and cost stage by stage.
- For your chosen project you must provide:
- 1) A project overview giving a brief background to the project, the project objectives, the project scope and exclusions, the project deliverables and desired outcomes and project constraints (15% - 600 words)
- 2) A Work Breakdown Structure which is broken down by sub-activity to the level of work packages (25% - 1000 words)
- 3) For one work package chosen from (2), you should provide an estimate of resources using appropriate techniques (10% - 400 words)
- 4) For one work package chosen from (2), you should provide a schedule for each activity using appropriate techniques (15% - 600 words)
- 5) For one work package chosen from (2), you should provide a budget detailing the costs of associated with delivering this work package (10% - 400 words)
- 6) For one work package chosen from (2), provide a risk register using risk identification techniques, risk assessment techniques , filtering techniques (15% - 600 words)
- 7) For one risk chosen from (6), develop a risk mitigation action plan (10% - 400 words)
