This assignment is based on the following requirement –
You should write a critical review in no more than 1000 words. It should meet the needs of a journal Editor seeking such a review: who you should imagine as your intended audience. That means you should at least be doing the following: (a) succinctly summarising the content, (b) evaluating the authority of the case made for the research, (c) evaluating the methods and analyses used to derive findings, (d) judging the credibility of the conclusions derived from those findings. You may then have other comments about the value of the report as a piece of research - for instance, sometimes you can think of things the authors should have done that would greatly strengthened their report (after all sometimes they have the relevant data and could pull it in on request). Dont assume because its chosen here that I think its poor - like all papers it probably has weaknesses but, remember, it HAS been published, so there must be strengths to comment on.
