Description
Organizational success and failure depends on its ability to adapt to changes and address the ever-changing demands of the potential customers. Creativity can exist in organizations only if it present at individual levels and there is a conducive climate to encourage creativity and innovation (Amabile et al., 1996). Individual’s creativity cannot be utilized if the organization lacks effective climate (Dawson & Andriopoulos, 2014). Majan College was established in 1995 and was the first private university in Oman. It is located on a single campus in Darsait and has more than 100 staff members and student population of 3,500 (Majan College, 2015). Majan College is accredited college of UK’s University of Bedfordshire. The college operates under the supervision of Ministry of Higher Education, Oman (Majan College, 2015). The college offers under graduate programmes in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration Computer and Internet Applications and other fields and master programmes in Business Administration, International Human Resource Management and Computer Sciences in both full time and part time mode (Majan College, 2015). The report analyzes the creativity and innovative climate of Majan College based on the theoretical concepts and provides recommendations to enhance it further.
