This article briefly evaluates the HRM practices in Greece. The history and culture of the country are discussed in brief along with the various relational practices in the country. The workforce environment and the reasons for the recent crisis in the country are evaluated. Few reforms in broad manner are suggested for the HR department in order to overcome the recent crisis which not only affected the organizational benefits but also the country`s economy. In this article emphasis is laid on the recruitment and selection procedures followed by the HRs in Greece. The opportunities in Greece are also extensively discussed in this briefing.
