Human resource management is a strategic and coherent approach to the management of the most valued asset of an organization which is the work force. The workforce both individually and collectively contribute to the accomplishment of an organization’s goals and objectives (Armstrong, 2003). The major issues that have been identified in the accounting department of Victorian Merchant Bank can be handled effectively using the principles and concepts of HRM.
