Organizational growth and sustainability depends on the various strategies applied by the organization. The strategies can work in favour of the company only when they are formulated based on the analysis of the various environmental factors both internal and external. Competition is one of the main external factor, which can challenge the organization’s strategy. The organizational structure, human resource practices and systems also have a direct impact on the organizational strategies applied for business growth. Structure and culture if not effective can make the other elements inefficient and can lead to poor strategic decisions. The organization might continue to sustain due to its brand image but in long-term it might face business and financial loss. This report analyses the factors contributing to the business issue of National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD). NBAD is country’s premier bank and is known for providing excellent services to the corporate customers and has less focus on other segments. This has led to the business issue of increasing dissatisfaction among the retail banking customers and due to its internal practices has led to decreasing motivational factors among the employees. The report also provides recommendation to overcome the identified issues.
