Description
The ACS which is the Australian Computer Society was founded in 1966 and is today recognized as a recognized association of information and communication technology professionals well versed in professional ethics and ICT industry standards. The ACS code of ethics covers a diverse range of ethics comprising of maintaining dignity in proving effectiveness of IT based on the laid down standards of conduct. The second code of conduct is based on values and ideals with employees at work. The other measures comprise of competence, honesty, priorities, social implication, up gradation of professional skills are some of the ethical principles which are incorporated under ACS and is practiced to make ICT a pivotal instrument to make Australia a clean and green place. The above mentioned ethical code of conduct is used to address the ethical dilemmas.
