Description
Leadership is a complex process but its essence may be said to lie in the capacity to frame plans which will succeed and the faculty to persuade others to carry them out in the face of all difficulties. It implies that a plan should reflect a leader’s grasp and feel of the quality of his resources and the environment in which the plan has to be implemented. Secondly, the concept of leadership implies the capacity of getting things done. In the context of strategic management it implies dealing appropriately with people, which is reflected in the effectiveness of leadership capability.
