The report is a critical analysis of the case study on Yakka Tech private limited operating in Australia and New Zealand. The aim of this report is to analyze the case study and to make it clear; the report is divided into three sections, in which the first part of the paper discusses the issues encountered by the company related to employee management, motivation and retention which led to poor customer service as mentioned in the case study. It delves into the causes for poor customer service by the employees and how it led to decline in company’s revenue. The second part of the paper is a literature review on how can the company rope with the complex phenomenon of employee motivation, training and development to improve organization’s performance. It basically focuses on how application of HR policies and principles can lead to a new beginning. The second section deals with literature review of employee motivation models, reward management and employee training as effective tools to overcome issues encountered by the company. To delve in depth to the concept, the literature draws on how these theories can be practiced in Yakka Tech to improve its customer service. To complete this section various articles and management text books have been referred. All the articles and text books referred to explain various theories on employee motivation, training, development and reward management and how these principles when applied can instil positive attitude among employees. The basic framework is aimed at reducing employee turnover, increase productivity and sustain competitive advantage. The third and last section of the paper deals with recommendations on how Yakaa Tech overcomes HR issues and various strategies have been designed to implement this change.
The paper closes with a small conclusion on how this analysis and implementation of action change overall scenario to Yakka Tech.
