Supply chain management is considered as an integral part of the organizational structure in recent time. The success of the business organizations is highly relied on the functions of the supply chain management. It helps the organizations to provide uninterrupted service to their potential consumers. It consists of four different steps, such as- supply of raw materials, manufacture the products, deliver the products to the stores and supply the final products to the consumers via product distributors or the shop keepers (Christopher 2016). The following article is discussing about the supply chain management strategies of Wal-Mart. Being one of the leading retail chain of the world, it does not have to produce any products. Hence, the supply chain of Wal-Mart mainly based on three crucial steps, those are- suppliers, store and the final consumers (Stadtler 2015).
The following article has discussed about various aspects of supply chain management of Wal-Mart. It has highlighted the strategies that have been followed by the Wal-Mart authority to meet the satisfaction level of the consumers.
