Description

Even traditionally, there had been great demand for leadership. Even the era of the popular ‘great man’ theory placed much importance on the ability of a single person to achieve a number of goals (Bass & Bass, 2008). Since then a number of changes and developments have taken place with respect to leadership theory. However, even today, the educational, military, social and organizational sectors look towards leadership to solve a number of their problems. However, in the below sections, organizational leadership is examined. Specifically, leadership theory is applied to a bank in Oman so as to achieve certain organizational and personal leadership goals.
